Gelement update #7

Hello hello! I actually have a couple things I'd like to show off today, so let's hop right into things!

I've been working on adding functionality to some of the other color forms. The blue form is centered around water, so I've been adding swimming and breath mechanics this past week. I still need to make animations for that however, so it will have to be a moment before I show that off!

As for the red form, it will be an offensive heavy move set centered around fire. This means it does increased damage, which is already properly implemented, but I'm still thinking on what to do beyond that. I'm leaning toward some kind of double jump maybe?

Finally, there's the purple form! This form is centered around poison, so naturally, Prim will have immunity to toxic mushroom fumes while in this form. Additionally, the forms light weight allows Prim to run faster, making it a perfect tool for speeding through levels!



There are many more forms beyond the four I've already shown, but those are a ways out.

In the meantime, I have some more concept art I've been working on!



This is a rough map of the world of Gelement. Greenvale, the starting zone and the location of Prim's village, is the peninsula at the very top. After going the Greenvale, Prim will be tasked with trekking down to the large desert at the bottom of the island- before making it there, however, they'll have to make it past the volcanic mountain range that separates the upper and lower regions. There are countless of unique places in this world, and Prim's journey will take them into every corner of the map!
